Siemens does not break out automotive software revenue. Its PLM tools are widely described as the backbone at many OEMs, but this report only claims customers it can trace to primary sources:

What makes Siemens structurally different: breadth plus the Altair injection. Before March 2025 it was the mirror image of Dassault — no owned moulding solver, mould-flow by partnership. After Altair, it owns a moulding solver and — as far as this study has found — the only shipping ML layer that touches moulding results. [Synthesis]

The AI layer now genuinely touches one moulding stage: a company that accumulates Inspire Mold runs can train PhysicsAI to predict moulding outcomes for new geometry in seconds. - Designcenter — since 2025, Siemens' portfolio name for its product-design tools (NX and relatives).
- Simcenter — Siemens' simulation portfolio; since 2025–26 it also houses the renamed Altair products (Simcenter PhysicsAI, Simcenter Inspire Mold, …).
- Solver — the numerical engine inside a simulation tool that computes the physics (e.g., how molten plastic fills a mould).
