TCS has genuine automotive mechanical-engineering history — its body-engineering/interiors credentials trace to brochure-era material from the mid-2010s [Synthesis — from an earlier research note; could not be re-verified] — and a genuinely concrete, dated AI product: TCS TwinX, an AI/digital-twin platform with generative and agentic AI and a patented simulation engine. Why no full report. TwinX is the wrong twin for this study: its two stated pillars are strategic marketing (product launches, campaign optimisation, upsell/cross-sell) and operations optimisation (process fallout prediction, supply-chain optimisation) — enterprise decision simulation, not parts engineering. The TwinX page contains no mention of injection moulding, plastics or part design (checked 2026-08-01). The mechanical heritage is old and undated; the AI is dated but aimed elsewhere.
