Who they are / moulding stake. Motherson's Modules & Polymer Products division runs 131 facilities in 25 countries, with in-house mould design ("mould design and analysis on latest software … and MoldFlow Analysis") and tool rooms building injection tools up to 3,200 tons (350+ moulding machines, 6–2,300 t clamping). One of the largest moulders on earth, with the whole tooling chain in-house. [Evidence] 12

Steelman (the strongest case for them) / the thesis. Motherson is the purest expression of the customer-side whitespace: enormous moulding + Moldflow discipline + in-house tooling, and essentially no engineering AI. A company that already pays for mould-flow analysis at 131 sites is a natural buyer of retrieval/DFM tooling — it has the data and the workflow, and nothing occupying the slot. [Synthesis]

What would change our mind: a Motherson Technology Services offering (its IT arm markets generic AI/ML services3) turned inward on polymer engineering, or any dated announcement of AI in mould design/DFM. That would make Motherson a competitor to the thesis rather than a customer. [Inference]
